Letter from NVC
We just had interview today for AOS through my US citizen wife. The officer said he cant approve the case today because he doesn't have a paper from I-130 from NVC(we had applied I-130 when she was on her GC) and he needs to get the paper from them in order to approve. Also since my wife didn't had Birth Certificate he asked to send the copy of old passport. Everything went well in the interview he just asked just one question about our relationship. He said he would approve but since the paper is not there is not allowed to approve. Does anyone had the same situation? Does anyone know how long does it takes for approval?
