Adjustment of Status - I-485

Today I called uscis customer service about my lost mail and the agent told me that it’s odd that my status didn’t change when they sent out the letter I told her I have an image of the notice mailpiece in my email and she put a service request to Louisville field office to send me another notice and gave me a confirmation number.

I am honestly afraid that I don’t get another notice on time. My wife and I are planning to go down to the local office this Monday and try to talk them into giving us the interview date if we don’t hear from them by then.

Funny thing that I read a similar experience to this on VisaJourney where a couple had the same exact story with the same field office this past February 2020 except they didn’t have informed delivery so they didn’t realize that they had an interview until it was too late. But I heard they managed to reschedule.

Is there any advice? Any suggestion is appreciated.
