Lost passport with Visa
I have lost my passport which has valid visa on it.
Here are things which I did to get it stamped again...
1. Give complaint in police station and get the FIR. Reference link - http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-gen-faq.asp#qlistlostpassport
2. Book the slot for another passport(Can not be done in Tatkal for lost passport). You need FIR to get passport.
3. Once you receive the passport book a slot for VISA interview.
4. Inform the interviewer about lost passport and give they will ask for FIR.
5. My interviewer does not ask much questions: she took FIR and verified something. She asked about the employer, salary, location and she said my VISA is approved.
