Hi all,
I have a question and please let me know if you know an answer to it.
I am married to LPR. I have filed AOS in June, 2019. My current status(OPT EAD) expires in January,2020 and I am waiting for GC-EAD.
So my question is since I am married to LPR(Lawfull Permanent Residant), can I stay legally in United states until I get my GC-EAD or interview or do I need to go back to my home country and go through counselor process?
I know spouses of USC can stay here legally after filing AOS but not sure is spouses of LPR can live legally. Thanks in advance.
