Mandamus with USCIS
Hi guys. I hope you all are doing well.
It has been almost 140 days since I sent my response to USCIS to renew the I-693 form to adjust my I-485 (EB-1A approved in August 2018, I-485 filed on October 24th, 2018).
There is no response from USCIS; they did not even update the website, and I do not know if they actually received my medicals (according to the tracking number, it was delivered to the LA office on June 17th).
I want to file a writ of Mandamus to speed up the processing but my lower advised me waiting for 180 days (40 more days in my case.)
If you have a similar expericne filing a writ of Mandamus please share. Should I file it now, or it is better to wait as recommended?
