Medical exam validity
Today we were told by our lawyer that the medical exam is only valid for 60 days after it's signed by the doctor and expires after 60 days if it is not submitted to USCIS. I'm pretty sure that this only applies to medical exams that are done prior to filing AOS. That's what it says on USCIS website too. But I just want to make sure because the lawyer thinks we have to redo the medical exam. We filed AOS in April 2019 and my husband did his medical exam in September 2019. our rescheduled interview is on September 14. Based on USCIS website since it was done after AOS was filed, it should be valid for 2 years. Can others share their experiences? has all of you submitted your medical exams within 60 days of having it done? thank you!
