Mistake in N400 application
Dear folks, please read this, I need your help for advice. This is going to help me and so many others.

In my N400 application I forgot to mention I had part time job (driving for Uber/Lyft) in 2018. Is this going to be an issue? Is this a mistake? Do I have to tell the interviewing officer about this? Do they usually ask about prior jobs?

This was a part time job, I only made less than $2000 in 5 months driving for both companies, and for this I didn’t get 1099 tax document from them, so I didn’t include that amount in my 2018 tax filling.

I talked with a tax professional, he said you are fine, because they never sent you a 1099 and you didn’t add it because you thought you didn’t have to.
He said you can do it called amendment but since you have upcoming interview appointment, it would be better not to do it now because they already have my tax transcript and if I do it now it will make a conflict with what they have, it would be better to do it after the interview.

My current job is also self-employment, and I DID declare that in my N400 I have been self-employed from 2017 to present.

Does this mean that I declared my part time self-employed job in 2018? If so than it means that the word “self-employment” basically include that part time job too and I am good.
