Mom's visa denied
My mother had visa interview at mumbai consulate on 08-Aug-05 and she was denied the visa. The reason they said was that her financial condition was not good. Its absolutely wrong because I am working for a Big 5,earning good here, nice bank balance and she too has a healthy bank balance with property.

She is a widow (my father expired 13 yrs ago)and I have an younger unmarried sister back in India. All the documents were proper, she also had an affidavit on stamp paper convincing her return to India.

They asked lot of questions about me,herself and she replied correctly.

Friends I read a lot to carry this and that document, but my query is do they take any documents while giving the interview appointment or along with DS156 form. If not then they ask all questions just based on one form...is it true?

Still I don't know on which clause her visa was rejected. But would like your help & advice as how to proceed with this and how do I make them look into the document file.

Thanks a lot

Jai
