I am so glad and thankful to this website for the appropriate information and also experiences.
But also, there is a factor 'luck'
My mother's visa was rejected twice but today she cleared and got 10yr MV
she went for a hindi translator and the translator was the one asking all Q's
Q's asked
1. How many children do you have?
2. Where are they?
3. Why is ur husband not coming with you
-she said he is not interested now
co asked : why he is not interested?
mother : not that he is not interested.. he is busy with work so not interested to come now.
She repeatedly asked the same Q and my mother gave the same reply.
4. What is ur daughter doing?
5. is she on H1?
6. why has she not come to see u in 2 yrs?
(lot of them ask this Q.. please be prepared!)
7. Where is ur soninlaw working?
Okay you can go.. my mother did not know if she got the visa.. she asked and the co said 'Mil Gaya'
Tips to others :
1. Prepare Qs very well.
2. one Q leads to another so prepare accordingly.
3. have an answer for all the Qs whether u have prepared or not.. or if you dont know say I dont know..
4. Be confident.
5. say without doubt why you will come back ..thats all they see
6. finally be consistent with answers.
