Case: I-485 employment-based
Filing Date: March 22, 2003
Fingerprint notice receipt date: March 26, 2004
Fingerprint/picture capture date: March 29, 2004
Notice to appear for interview: February 11,2005
Greencard received in the mail: March 2, 2005

NOTE: I changed employer approximately 7 months after filing I485

During Interview: I was ushered in at exactly 2 PM as scheduled. I was sworn in to tell the truth. Questions asked: What do you do for a living? do you still work with the same company? Have you been arrested? Do you have any connection with any terrorists? Have you been in a mental institution? Where were you born?

Documents asked: Copy of Income tax return for the last 3 years including W2. Copy of Passport

He DID NOT ask for I-94, EAD's, parole visa, employment letter, paystubs, visa screen for health professionals, copy of medical exams, etc

He did not stamp a temporary evidence of permanent residence on my passport.....He said that I should just wait for the card in the mail.

In summary: I-140 approved in 10 months
             I-485 approved in 2 years
             Interview was over in 12 minutes
