Hey everybody
I'm just so happy and overwhelmed right now
But I'll start from the beginning
9/5/2015 married my wonderful husband
9/25/2014 sent all documents
10/1/2014 got an email that USCIS received it
long waiting for 9 months
6/27/2015 got an RFE requesting marital assets and my current address (cuz when my husband and I were applying for AOS, on papers we were living separately due to landlord's stubbornness)
The whole month of July we were in moving process and temporarily were living at my husband's parents, so we were told to move to a permanent address to send evidence and change our address.
7/20/2015 we moved to our new apartment
7/21/2015 We called USCIS to change our address and were told to send applications to change address as well
7/22/2015 we sent evidence and change of address applications
7/28/2015 I got a text that my status had changed and I went to check online
And that's what it says:
Welcome Notice Was Mailed
On July 27, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxxx. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by September 25, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
To say that I didn't expect that is to say nothing. My husband and I are so happy
I know a lot of you guys are waiting and I just want you to stay patient and believe.
