12/6/19 applied for Aos through USC with the package of forms required 485,130,130a,865 and medical
4/1/20 interview was canceled due to covid
01/19/21 interview scheduled
09/19/21 9 am interview
We were asked questions about when i entered, where i worked, where i lived, looked at my visa(j1)which expired many many years ago, asked to see my property deed it was purchased in my previous marriage and was just my name on it she asked why was just me on the deed. Also asked my husband my parents names and where they work/ worked. And she asked me about his parents names.
She went through the eligibility questions and security ones.
She asked to give her what evidence we had.
I followed the packet in the posted thread in this forum and i presented bills, insurances (health, cars, property) travel, gifts, usps daily mail, bank and cc statements 2 each most recent and oldest and 2 photo albums, she looked at each picture. She liked our wedding album(made online costco photo center)
Asked about my big ring if i wear it and asked him how much he paid.
Lawyer was present by phone.Officer at the end said she needed to review and get a new background check and she will make a decision.
Same day 3 pm status changed to New Card being produced!
It’s been a very long journey- but believe in yourselves! Stay positive and bring evidence with you.
