My H1 Visa Experience
Thanks for all guyz who added their experiences out here, those really helped.

Before adding mine, I would say Just B KOOl.. its easy there.

I went to the Chennai Consulate 30 minutes early which is waste of time, they don't allow you inside early, you gotto stay outside, Thank God It wasn't raining that day, though it was raining all the time.

They allowed me inside before 5 minutes of my appointment,

1. Paid my fees at TTS Services, they gave me a Token Number
2. Went to the counters inside for initial check(Documents) one indian guy will check your documents.
3. He asked me Which company I am going to work for, I said #####, then he took documents from me and arranged it in a folder and gave it back to me and asked me to go and wait in the main lobby
4. Now I am in lobby where there are lots of people waiting for their turn for the interview with US Consulor.
5. After a long wait, they called my token number and asked me to stand at counter number 4.
6. Finally My turn came,

Officer: Hi
Me: Hello Officer

Officer: Can I have your documents
Me: I gave the I 197, Company documents, Passport

Officer: Which company are you working for.
Me: ######

Officer: You are leaving a Big Company and going for a small company
Me: Going for a Developing Company

Officer: Smiled, n said, Ok is it the first time you are going?
Me: Yes

Officer: So you are Engineer? Can I see your credentials.
Me: Sure, I gave the docs

Officer: He checked the documents and said, As per your credentials YOU ARE NOT ElIGIBEL FOR VISA..( beacause I am not Computer Engg )
Me: I smiled at him and kept a blank face.

Officer: He checked about the company which I am going to work and since I am working for a big company and having more than 6 yrs of experience, He got convinced and Said, Ok Pay the Fees at Counter Number 1 and have a safe journey to US.
Me: Thanks (With a big Smile)

Thats It.. I paid the fees and I got the passport back in 2 days with Visa Stamped on it.

It sounds simple, isn't it?

Just be confident, try not to make false statements, n Be Precise, Don't talk too much .. Answer to the point.

Check all the documents once before you step in there..

Good Luck :)
