My interview in dallas
Friends i realy thank this forum. You guies were so helpfull. Lets keep up helping each other.
Finaly i had ny i485 interview with my wife (us citizen) in dallas office.
It was pretty quick, the officiwr was so nice, and didnt ask us a lot of question. We went both at the same time in her office along with our 2 month old baby.
I gave him our bby birth certificate, our joint bank statement, car insurance, and our wedding photos album where he picked some.
He just asked how we met thats it. The baby was a huge prroof for our mariage.
The officer said im not gokng to take you for long time bcoz of the baby. At the end He asked us some questions on the i485.
He asked me for the physical exam, which i didnt update bcoz i tought the one i submitted last year was still valid, bcoz most of the time they process i485 in less than a year, ut he said no i should have a new one.
And gave me rfe for the phisical exam and said i can just drop it at my local uscis instead of mailing it and then i sould be ok to receive my 10 years gc.
Question: how long does it take after submitting an rfe after i terview to receive a gc?
Also i checked online the i130 says approved. What does it mean?
And finaly i advice eveybody if you submitted an i693 and its being a year old , please update it bfore going to interview.
