My N-400 process
Almost done..! . oath ceremony scheduled July 25th (actual date August 15th) filed by mail in November 13th, finger prints done Dec 4th and interview on June 7th.. (I had to wait a little longer for a judicial ceremony due to a name change) Thanks so much to everyone for sharing your experience through the process, it helped me alot.
(Just be patient and wait :) a lot of people are wondering to why they don’t see a update on their case online, mine never change from Biometric to another, or “in line for interview “.. )
I applyed for 5yrs green card holder and single, so my application was simple.
The interview was simple and easy; officer started first with the reading and writing portion, then the civics questions (asked me 6 questions and got them right) and lastly the application. I did a few mistakes whe I sent my application on the “yes and No” questions, but I corrected my self in the interview and gave a explanation to why I pick/choose to answer “yes or No” and officer made some corrections on the application and had me sigh. No worries if you made a mistake or anything, they’re there to go over your application again and correct any mistakes, just pay very close attention to every question and be ready to give a explanation. :) (and ofcourse be honest)
Good luck everyone!!.
