July 24, 2007 Sent in N400 Application with detailed coversheet of all documents attached.
Oct 16, 2007 received I-797 Notice of Action stating receipt of check and paperwork (I knew they already cashed the check - appr. 3 weeks after I sent in paperwork)
Oct 27, 2007 received Appointment Notice to get fingerprints done
Nov 24, 2007 had fingerprints done in Oakland ( I live in Fremont).
January 2008 received Appointment Notice for Interview in SF
Feb 20, 2008 was interviewed in San Francisco- DO NOT BRING A CAMERA PHONE- THEY DO NOT ACCEPT THESE INSIDE; was asked 10 History questions and had to read and write a sentence in English. She went through the Application and verified a lot of the items.
About 2 weeks later received notice for Oath ceremony.
March 25, 2008 attended the Oath cermeony in SF and became a citizen! Camera's are allowed here and it is quite impressive. There were 1500 people from 99 countries.
