N400 Application
Hi All!
From inception (applied for conditional green card, removal of conditional green card, now naturalization), all these relevant forums were of great help (immihelp forums).

Today ends all my stress about applying and dealing with paperwork, stress etc.
Want to share my experience with you lovely people awaiting your turn, as I used to look forward to people's past experience for my help as well. (That's what makes this forum a great one, when we completed, just don't disappear, share with others that are in line).
-Applied for N400 September, 2020. (Through marriage to US citizen, at 3 years anniversary, applied via mail to Texas)
-Got received letter in two weeks.
-Biometric December, 2020.
-Interview letter late December, 2020.
-Interview today (01/12/2021, on my birthday, thinking will be no questions 😁)

Interview kinda slower than thought (took about 90 minutes from walked to out) because of software mechanism, but very smoothly and officer very friendly.
Firstly, civic questions.
1. What does the constitution do?
2. What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
3. What do we call the first ten amendments to the constitution?
4. What is the name of the President of the United States now?
5. If the president can no longer serve, who becomes president?
6. Name one war fought by the United States in the 1900.
Answered all 6 correctly, then moved on to reading segment.
A paper was sent to me with 3 questions, BUT was asked to read the first one:
"When is Columbia Day" ( I read, she says place paper in folder). Move along to writing segment.
Blank paper was sent to me, the Officer read "Columbus Day is in October" and asked me to write that sentence.
I did, she asked to placed paper in folder.
She asked me yes/no questions on application, verified height, date of birth, address etc on form.
Congratulated me and asked me to wait in the waiting area for my letter of oath which is set for next Thursday (01/21/2021).
Letter is being given by hand for aoth rather than mailing (mailing is longer than they may wanted to complete process)
Field office is United States Virgin Islands (US Territory).
Good luck to ALL awaiting!!!!
