Nov 2017: Interview is scheduled.
Jan 9 2018: interview at Federal Plaza. Online status remained that interview was scheduled.
Feb 12 2018: online status updated to Oath letter sent. Oath letter arrived 4 days later.
Feb 22 2018: Oath.
I have expected that the process of naturalization without any complications to be about one year in NYC, so I didn't check the status often. I wasn't too worried that the online status was not updated, because I'd prefer that the resources be used in processing applications than updating statuses. I am glad it went as expected.
