Hi everyone, this forum has been very helpful. Im sharing my experience , I applied under the 5 year rule.
Im married to an American Citizen, but I did the 5 year naturalization.
Here is my timeline
April 14, 2021 - Received your Form N-400
April 29, 2021- Biometrics Reuse
Sept 3, 2021- Scheduled interview for 10/21
Oct 21,2021 - Interview ( passed the civic test but my case needed to be reviewed. RFE requested)
Nov 22, 2021- Evidence was received.
Dec 22, 2021- We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time.
December 29, 2021- Approved.
December 29 2021- Your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling
Jan 3- Oath Ceremony was sent.
Jan 25- Oath Ceremony!!!
My RFE was required most likely because I travel a lot.
Never more than 6 months at a time and obviously no more than the time allowed. ( 30 months)
I was requested to send my current lease ( sent the past 3 years though) and taxes for the past 5 years.
