Naturalization Interview - Today 23 oct 23 NYC Office
Hi everyone
I had my N-400 (marriage-based) filed on March 03, 2023 - My biometric was redone on 10 April 2023, and interviewed today after the good wait. I passed the interview but the decision was not made. Asked for more documents.
A.O asked the civic test
1. What is an amendment
2. Who is the speaker of the house
3. The House of Representatives has how many voting members?
4. How many US senators are there?
5. How many amendments does the Constitution have?
6. What happened on Sept 11 2001 in the united states?
Answered the first six correctly and did the English test and passed it too.
A.O. was okay and wasn't rude or anything but after reviewing everything did the Pledge of Allegiance. Then she needed some more evidence even giving 3 years of tax returns (filled joint since 2018), a Bank statement, and insurance provided. She said everything is good and suddenly oh needs to have more documents like bank statements needs to show transactions and all.
I would like to hear from others if anyone has a similar situation. I wish everyone all the best. Its all waiting game.
