Naturalization Interview/Seattle/WA done
Arrived at 8:30am for the interview.

We were asked to sit in the 2nd floor lobby.

I was the 2nd person to be called in for the interview.

Interviewer went through each and every section in N400 form and asked for clarifictions where required. (Good idea to review the entire form before the interview)

I had requested for name change and this option is available only during July 4th oath ceremony. There were 2 options suggested:
 - Apply for a name change and go through the security check and the interview process again

 - Complete the interview and get the name changed before applying for the passport.

Obviously I chose the second option :-)

Then the interview questions:

- Asked to read a simple sentence
- Asked to write a simple sentence
- Civic Questions
  - what do the 13 stripes in the flag mean?
  - Who makes the laws?
  - Who said "give me liberty or give me death"?
  - Name the first thirteen states
  - How often can we reelect the same senators?

I had to sign the forms and the photos.

This was a breeze and the interview was completed successfully. Oath ceremony is scheduled for the end of the month.

Thanks for helpful information in this site.
