Need Advise - Interview for AOS
Hi everyone,

I need some advice and inputs from you guys if you have been through similar situation, or you have heard of people in similar situation.

Date applied - August 23, 2016
Date Interview - December 14, 2016
Application - I-130/I-485

The interview went very well, the officer stated that he would approve the green card but he would require a "Gonorrhea" test since that was missing from my medical report. Once I provide him that he will approve it. I provided that to the immigration office in the following week of interview, but due to Christmas and winter holidays my case got delayed.

We moved to a different state this year, and our case got transferred to the local USCIS office here. We just received a letter from the local USCIS office here for an interview. The weird thing about this letter is that it is not on an I-797, but it is just on a "Form G-56" and addressed to me "The Beneficiary". Reason for appointment - Application for adjustment of status".

On one side I am very happy that the case got an update and we will have the decision soon after the interview.

On other side, while reading about different experience, different people are reporting that their "second interview" was a stokes interview, where they were separated and grilled for hours.

I know, we will still prepare well for the interview that is coming up, and have lots of evidences.

But just to put my mind at ease - I would like to hear from members who have more knowledge about it, and from other people who have similar experiences?
