New DS-160 Form
My sister and nephews applied for a U.S. B1/B2 visitor visa last year. Their DS-160 forms were submitted on July 5, 2025, but their visa interview appointment is not scheduled until August 11, 2026.
Since more than a year will have passed, I’m concerned that the DS-160 confirmation may no longer be valid by the time of the interview. Should they complete and submit new DS-160 forms?
If a new DS-160 is required, how can the DS-160 confirmation number linked to the existing visa appointment be updated? Has anyone gone through this process and attended the interview with a new DS-160 after scheduling the appointment?
Were there any issues or complications at the VAC or consular interview?
Any guidance or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
