Hi,
I got new OCI card for my daughter today. Here is my experience-
Application sent on 6th Nov
Got passport back on 11th Nov
Date of Acknowledgement at Embassy- 12th Nov
Document Printed - 4th Dec
Dispatched from New Delhi - 11th Dec
Received at San Francisco - 15th Dec
Received E-mail from VFS for payment of $15 - 16th Dec
We instantly did the payment and in 1 hour received e-mail from Fedex for label creation. But they didn't mail the card on same day.
Next day we got the e-mail from VFS stating "Your Application has been reviewed by the Consulate/Embassy name and is {ready for collection at the ICAC or will be dispatched within 24 business hours }."
Finally today we got the OCI card. Just wanted to share my experience with others if it will help them to understand the timeline and process.
