No decision after 2nd interview
Hi everyone,

I've been reading this forum a lot and is helping me to stay calm during the process. I can't believe that my case is still pending after 1 year and 6 months already :-(. I'm going to briefly summarize my case, so if someone is in the same situation please let me know.

I was here on an F-1 visa and after concluding my studies, I applied to F-2 status since my ex-wife was studying at that time. While I was on F-2, I met my current wife and we began dating. My marriage at that time was going downhill already, so I filed for divorce. After almost a year from divorce, I married my current wife and apply for the I-485. Here's my timeline:

Married: Nov / 2014
Submitted I-485 / I-765: Dec / 2014
Biometrics: Jan / 2015
EAD: Mar /2015
Notice of Potential interview waiver: Mar / 2015
Interview request: Feb 10 / 2016
Interview: Feb 25, 2016
2nd interview request: Mar 28 / 2016
2nd Interview done: Apr 05 / 2016

Just as a background my wife is Cuban and I've read that this is a red flag. The first interview was ok, after the interview was done I compared my answers to hers and we missed 4 questions.
The second interview was a little bit more stressful. I noticed that the IO focused a lot on my previous marriage, but once he questioned me about my current marriage I was able to answer all of the questions without an issue.

After the interview was done, he gave me a paper that my file is under review and that I should hear something within 120 days (it's been around 50 days already). Does it really take 120 days to get an answer?

By the way, my field office is Tampa. I've submitted a service request already because my wife and I are planning to go to Cuba to visit my in-laws.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you!
