No response for REF receipt

Receipt date notice by mail 11:14:2017. As I was awaiting biometrics,I got a REF for initial evidence on my (wife)sponsor's inabilitu to sponsor md because of low income. They rewuestef for joint sponsor in alternative. It took me a month to get a joint sponsor. I repluef USCIS on 20th December but up till now,my status did not change neither did they acknowledge that they received the response. The tracking receipt said it will deliver to NBC, Missouri on 23 rd December 2017 but I checked it on 26 th December and it said the mail has not gotten to NBC but will get there at a future date probably because of the holidays. I lost the tracking number that day regrettably though and do not know what to do as USCIS has not acknowledge receipt or my stays changed. I raised an SR for delay in biometrics but it says no officer has been assigned to the case since two weeks now. I called USCIS to inquire and they said I should book for infopass. For the past two weeks,Denver field office says there is no available appointment. Keeps on telling me to check back next week after another week.
Should I send in another mail of the joint sponsor documents? Should I just keep quiet? My contemporaries with same PD have started getting their EADs while I have my even done biometrics? Who has got this experience? I need advise.
