No Updates for A Year
Hi Everyone,
PD - March 2019...
Any Los Angeles filers here who have been interviewed for a year and still no status? Or approved after a year or so? Please share your experience....
My husband and I had our interview last year, Sept 2019 and until now there are no updates. We were just given a white paper that our case will be reviewed.
I called USCIS, 6x, and they raised 2 service requests for me. The other 4 whom I’ve talked to never helped me at all. There were no positive outcome for this but I just keep on calling if after a month, if I do not receive an update but “we cannot provide you any update”...
We asked for the Senator’s help and we have sent the letter last month and so far We have not heard anything.
We also reached out to the Ombudsman and submitted the form last Thursday, 9/3.
I will be writing directly to the USCIS field office who interviewed us next week too.
Im reading these stories of fast interviews lately (rescheduled interviews) and getting the approval right away I am happy for you guys but I hope USCIS looks at us too, their backlogs.
This is just frustrating and I hope that they just did not make us wait like this for an RFE. I wanted to be positive, but it is really hard. I do not want to receive an RFE or an NOID....
Please send me your positive stories especially of your case is similar.
