NY VAC Visitor Visa Experience
Hello,
I applied for a visitor visa on PAPER from VAC NY and got approved. Here's my full timeline:
December 5th: VAC Appointment: Application and passport submitted. Biometrics was given.
December 5th: "Visa application, tracking ID No. 2019xxxx has been dispatched to the IRCC Office"
December 6th: "Visa application, tracking ID No. 2019xxxx is under process at the IRCC Office."
December 7th: WEEKEND
December 8th: WEEKEND
December 9th: Status on cic.gc.ca: "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
December 10th: Biometrics Correspondence Letter received
December 11th: Application approved. "Visa application, tracking ID No. 20191xxxx – Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office"
December 12th: Envelope delivered to VAC in the morning. I picked up my passport with the visa on the same day.
