On April 13,2016 I created service request trying to find out why my case is taking longer than other cases. On June 9, 2016 USCIS responded. In 2 days I got letter saying that my case is waiting to be scheduled for an interview. Once my local field office has time, they would schedule me.
If I call 1800 number, the system says that my case is still in Lee Summit. I am not sure what to do. I know that many people who applied after me already got their green cards. My online status has not even changed to "Ready to be scheduled". I spoke to second level of customer service, they told me something about background check. I have no criminal records, I am from the country which is not related to terrorist. I am not sure what to do. Anybody had similar experience?
PS: my zip is 11223, Brooklyn
