OCI Application Withdrawal and Fees Refund
Hi uploaded ALL documents and sent them by UPS to SFO office for my new OCI application. Yesterday I received email from VSF saying application is on hold due to missing physical photo and some other documents.
That is very strange since I did send them my physical passport size photo and the other documents by UPS.
So why are they asking me to send them again? After I have read the nightmare experiences, I know I am going to get harassed and subjected to long delays.
VSF has given me 20 days to upload AND send the documents by courier, which they are again charging fees for uploading and UPS courier labels. I am already getting a bad feeling about all this and I regret applying for OCI.
I just want to withdraw from this process. So if I do nothing and after 20 days pass, what happens to my application? Will I be refunded the $275 application fees? I don't mind losing the other $70 in other fees and UPS fees I already paid. Is there a way to request cancellation of my application and get a refund of the actual $275 OCI fees?
