OCI Card - Chicago
I submitted OCI application for my son on 16th Aug 2021 with VFS Global - Chicago.
There was confusion with Photo background color -
As per VFS - it must be in white background and OCI - government site - Its given as light colored background.
I had to resent photos - which I send on 20th Aug 2021.
Received - text acknowledgement on 26th from VFS saying 'application processed and send to Mission.'
Since then - online update was - OCI application is under review.
On 21st I received notification from Fedex - Saying I will be getting a parcel from VFS Global Chicago.(There were no new updates online or via TEXT)
I received OCI card on 22nd Sep 2021 @ 0200 pm EST.
After 0400 pm I received Text and online updates on this Progress...
Overall - it took one month from Chicago center.
