OCI Card

Applied OCI for my son on 21st August,2017. Received OCI Card on 2nd Oct,2017. Process went smooth(except that i missed to send one document copy, so it extended the process by 3-4 days).

Also, i noticed most of the time goes in the courier services.
Like for me, i sent the original documents on Friday, CKGS received it on Monday(delaying 2 days because of UPS guidelines). Again the original card dispatch from India on 22nd Sep and document received at SFO on 29th Sep(> 7 days).
Again the card was dispatched from CKGS to my address on Friday and i received it on Monday(delaying 2 days).

Below is the complete status for my application:

Aug 21, 2017 - Monday - 12:45 pm - Application ‘Received’ by CKGS and 'Not Verified'.
You will receive an E-mail advising you of the outcome of the verification process.

Aug 21, 2017 - Monday - 03:47 pm - Application Verification is ‘Complete’. Processing of your application will continue.The Consulate may request for further documents over and above those already submitted as per the Document Checklist.

Aug 21, 2017 - Monday - 03:47 pm - Your Application is 'On Hold' due to the 'Incomplete Documents'. Once CKGS receives the documents and post verification, your application process will resume.

Aug 25, 2017 - Friday - 06:00 pm - Your Application continues to be 'On Hold' due to 'Pending Incomplete Documents'.

Aug 25, 2017 - Friday - 06:01 pm - We have 'Received' the 'Incomplete Documents' mentioned below but the contents have 'Not Been Verified'. An update on the progress of your application will be sent to you post verification.

Aug 25, 2017 - Friday - 06:01 pm - Application is ‘Verified and Reprocessed’ at CKGS.

Aug 26, 2017 - Saturday - 07:57 pm - Application is ‘Under Process’ at CKGS. Please continue tracking your application status online.

Aug 28, 2017 - Monday - 08:54 pm - Application is 'In Transit' to the Consulate.

Aug 29, 2017 - Tuesday - 02:37 pm - Application is 'Under Process' at Consulate for decision making.

Sep 08, 2017 - Friday - 06:34 pm - Passport 'Reviewed' by Consulate and is ‘In Transit’ to CKGS Application Centre.

Sep 08, 2017 - Friday - 06:34 pm - Original Passport ‘Received’ at the CKGS application centre and is at the ‘Sorting Facility’ where it is being processed for delivery.

Sep 08, 2017 - Friday - 06:35 pm - Passport picked up.

Sep 29, 2017 - Friday - 01:48 pm - Application 'Reviewed' by Consulate and ‘In Transit’ to CKGS Application Centre.

Sep 29, 2017 - Friday - 01:50 pm - OCI Card ‘Received’ at the CKGS application centre and is at the ‘Sorting Facility’ where it is being processed for delivery.

Sep 29, 2017 02:00 pm - OCI Card picked up by UPS.To track the ‘Progress of Your Shipment’, log onto the site of UPS and enter your AWB Number.

Also, below is the status in the India passport government website.
Documents Printing Status : Processed On 21-Sep-2017.
Dispatched from MEA(OCI) : New-Delhi On 22-Sep-2017.
Document Received At : SFO On 29-Sep-2017.
