Hi Guys - I have a situation.
Both myself and my wife are Indian citizens currently in US on a work visa.
Our daughter is born in US.We have applied for a OCI Card for our 4 month old daughter.
The OCI card has been processed and is in transit and should reach us in another 2 weeks
We have a family emergency so my wife and daughter have to travel to India in a couple of days.I have applied for a E-Visa for my daughter which is valid for 2months.
But my wife and kids may need to stay in India for more than 2 months.
I would be travelling to India next month (with my daughter's physical OCI card).
I checked with the FRRO office and they mentioned that if we enter with Evisa,we would leave with E-Visa with no exceptions even if you have OCI card with you while leaving
Did anyone face similar issue while travelling to India?
