No updates post that :(

Our India travel is planned for 21st May and I am planning to apply e-visa as backup but had couple of doubts , hopefully someone in the forum can guide

- My India stay is planned for 43 days and e-visa is for 30 days only. Is there any process to extend e-visa? At FRRO or have to go out and come back? Any legal issues, penalty if we stay longer without extending e-visa?
- Once OCI is received in US and we get it couriered to India, is there any process to update and stay beyond 30 days?

Any input would be helpful

Thanks!!
