I went for my H4 interview at US Embassy Delhi. Normal questions were asked ,all my documents were properly checked.
I had travelled to Europe ,Dubai and SE Asia earlier , which helped. however I was asked some questions on my husbands W2 form. the 2 forms had some mismatch "as per the visa officer" so he put up the paper and said " Isnt it strange ...these figures dont match? "
I did not know about the W2 so I told him straight away that the documents were sent by my Husbands office in US Detroit, and my husband had also checked the papers. Im sure these are correct/proper documents..and then the officer said "oH Well, I guess it is a tax issue " and I got my vsa stamped
Clear talk and common sense also help..I have been filing my Indian Tax for the last 7 years , sometimes get confused !!So how would I know about W2 Forms in US!!!
