My parents had i/v on 25th. We requested for a Malayalam interpreter. The consular officer was knowing Malayalam. He said "namaskaram" and started talking in Malayalam. Dad then talked to him in English because that was easier and they continued in English.
Following questions were asked.
1) Why are you going to US?
-- Dad said to see America and the beautiful places there. Fot this the CO strated laughing hartily.
2) What Visa is your son having?
--H1 This time dad handed over all the sponsor docs.
3) What Visa is your daughter in Law having?
--H4
4) Have you been abroad?
--Yes
5) Have your wife been abroad?
--Yes
6) How many kids do you have
--Two. This time dad handed over the family photos.
That was it. He said "shubhayatra" and asked to pay the fees.
The interview was on 25th and we got the passports stamped on 29th.
