Hi Everyone,
Please help with any comments you on below mentioned scenario.
briefly i m here on h1b(married and have a daughter), my sister is here since 97 and still green card holder. the interview was in gujarati on 09/20/2010.
vo: didn't greet or look to my parents.
vo: how long you guys are married?
parents: answered 40+ years.
vo to my father: what are you doing?
father: answered - retired.
vo: what is your son doing?
parents: my son is working at x company as software developer.
vo: since when you met your kids?
parents: answered.
finally the interpreter (according to my mom she was polite) told my parents that neither of your kids are citizen and your son is not 'officer' so we can't issue a visa. (what this word 'officer' means? i m really surprised..!!!!)
Please put any comments you have on the above said and guide me with valid points to take care of next time. Thanks a ton in advance.
