I too got word from my parents today that they got their visitor's visa approval at the chennai consulate on april 4th,2004.
I would give all credit to this website which has explained everything in detail ,including visitor and sponsor documents as well as the immense help gathered from reading the forums.
Many of my friends had employed the help of professional agencies to prepare documents etc and had told me that I was making a blunder by not doing the same .
However I did not do so and decided to give this a try and it worked.I will post the questions asked of my parents at a later time once they get back home from chennai.
