Parents Got Visitors visa
My parents got visitors visa yesterday at Mumbai Consulate.

They just ask couple of questions like what your son do in USA and what do you do here?

My father owns a business which my younger brother looks after these days. My father said, I am retired and want stay with my son in USA. That’s all, visa was granted.

Only problem was, when they apply for appointment I was on EAD (waiting for green card status) and I got my green card (I-551 stamped) 5 days before their appointment, which made my EAD and advance parole invalid. I wrote another letter to consulate in the reference of my previous letter, explaining situation. I guess that also helped.

Thanks to every one who shared their experience here, they are all helpful. And thanks for whole lot of information posted on this web site.
