Parents got Visitors visa
My Parents got Visitors visa from Chennai consulate on Jan 20th. I had filled their D-156 form online. I had requested for a Kannada translator for them. Their appointment was at 9.30 a.m and they were let in at 8.30 a.m. They had to wait till 11 a.m for interview because i guess they had kannada translator. They were asked the following questions:
1) Who is in US?
Son-in-law.
2) what is he doing there?
Computer Programmer.
3) Where do you work?
I have my own business.
4) What Business?
XYZ.
Thats it. He didnt ask for any of the papers we had sent. He was very friendly and told them they got visa and asked to pay the DD. Thanks to Immihelp for providing all the information that we needed to get my parents visitors visa. :)
