Parents Visa rejected
My parents visa got rejected in Chennai consulate on April 19th. They had been to US in August 2003 and stayed for 6 months. Questions asked are
Q: Who is in USA?
Q: How many children you have?
Q: Where are they?
The officer asked to give papers from USA
He just looked at one paper very fast, did not ask anything and returned it. He said the visa is rejected as my parents will not go back if they come to US again. My father had prepared all the papers but officer did not look at anything and called the next one. My parents were not given enough time to convince about the ties back in India
I thought it would be easy for my parents since they already been here before. We did not try to extend their stay. I am the only one in US. My sister and a brother is in India.
We are trying to book another appointment again.
