Indian Passport

Hello,

I have sent my passport to New york center on Feb 7th and it was received by VFS on 8th Feb. I got a confirmation email on Feb 10th So far so good.

On Friday Feb 19th 7:09pm i got a email from VFS saying NOTARIZED US VALID PROOF OF LEGAL STATUS NOT RECEIVED. But i have a Valid Stamped Visa in my passport and a color copy of it. Now they are asking me for a Notarized color copy of visa, How can i sent the Notarized copy of my Visa, when they have the original with them (Why we should do Notarize when we are sending the original).

Then on Feb 19th at 7:32pm(which is 30 mins from i received the email) i called VFS Global Care center and posted my query to the customer representative and he replied saying he understands the situation/concern. he will escalate issue to the concern department please wait till Monday some one from our team will call you to resolve the issue.

On Monday morning that is Feb 22nd 7:59am i got a email saying below

Dear Customer,

 your package has been received at the VFS application Centre. Our current processing times are longer than usual. Your application will be reviewed with 48-72 business hours. You are requested to track the status of your application after 2-3 business days.

But i didn't send any documents i thought they accepted my application and status will change in 2-3 business days. But status is not changed till now and when i email or call them i was not getting any appropriate response.

Note: in the email which i received of missing documents, it also says i should take action in 7 calendar days if not my application will be rejected

What are my options now here? Can anyone had this issue. Even after sending the having the original Stamped Visa in passport do we need to Notarize the copy color of visa again?
