Oct 06 - Status shown as Embassy received the documents and review in progress
And then no updates for almost 3 weeks
Oct 26 - Raised a PRAMIT request on the NY Consulate portal asking for status update
Oct 26 - Received email response from Consulate on the same day - "Your application is at the granting stage"
Oct 27 - Status updated to passport has been dispatched; Received email from Fedex with tracking details
Oct 28 - Fedex shipment delivered to home; Old and New passports received
Sep 28 - Email from VFS - your application is received
Sep 30 - Email from VFS - we have received your application and is currently under progress
