Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hey so here is the problem my husband and I are very young he’s 21 and I am 24 we want to file for my permanent residence we currently don’t have a lease together or anything because we recently got married and want to start our life together he’s going on deployment in like two weeks I.e beginning of dec he fill out the paper works and everything and wants me to put them in by my birthday in January so hopefully when he gets back in 6 months we go straight in the interview... I want to know what supporting documents should I get what steps am I to follow are we doing this adjustment of status too quick I don’t know I am lost all I want to do is start a life with my husband but reading up things that they are going to want we don’t have them.. I would like if somebody could guide us
