Ead approved end of October 2019
Email from USCIS early January 2020 interview canceled
Did not get interview notice until late January 2020 for February 5, 2020. Called USCIS got tier 2 who said case was canceled no specific reason lucky thing I wrote down that call reference number.
We were told to wait for a new interview date end of February we both got denial letters saying we did not show up for interview. Followed instruction to reopen case sent request for help from ombudsman office they followed up until they were sure I got interview date. Case reopened mid March 2020, interview scheduled April 2020 canceled due to covid.
Sent Ead renewal July 2020, got receipt notice August 2020.
End of August saw letter coming from the USPS informed delivery from field office Norfolk, did not receive it. Called USCIS rep. said nothing was scheduled for me. Early September 2020 rep. from ombudsman office called me asking if I received my interview letter for September 10, 2020. I told him about the letter I saw and did not receive he said if I do not receive it the day before the interview to call him, did not receive it reached out to him and he called the field office they emailed it to him and he forwarded it to me. Nothing but Jesus. Interview day asked officer about letter he said he sent it but did not put it in the system. Interview was conversational, got white paper to review. EAD card approved September 13, 2020. Then got update a couple days later scheduled for interview October 13, 2020. Called USCIS told them I already did the interview and told them the name of the officer. Case was updated a few days later interview completed must be reviewed. Crickets! Late January sent request for help to congressman office got response from them where USCIS indicated February 22, 2020 they are still working on case the constituent will get update the next 30-60 days. On March 24, 2020 card in production, March 25, 2020 both i485 and I130 approved will receive notices in the mail. March 26, 2020 card mailed to address on file. Looking out for it to be delivered in a day or two.
