Philadelphia Stoke interview
Hi guys.we had a stoke interview yesterday about my I 130. I couldn't file for I 485 at the same time because of my asylum case( removal proceeding). Officer was an India Male.
After sworn in he asked me to step out to the waiting room. My wife was interviewed for 40 minutes. After that he called me in and asked my wife to step out and told me that since I'm in removal proceeding he have to go deep with the interview. After interview me for 20 minutes he realized that one of my answers didn't match to my wife so he asked me to step out again and called my wife in. He asked her when did I move in to her appartment she said she is not really sure and said she doesn't want to be wrong but she thinks it was February but I already said January. So officer said that he wants her to give exact date and got frustrated and said that she can't remember.
Our lawyer was there the entire time. Officer called my lawyer out for like 5 minutes and came back in and still questioning her about the same thing and she started crying because she can't remember. She told the officer that he can asked her anything but to be honest she can't remember. She was really under pressure. He finally said sorry to my wife and said he didn't mean to make her cry.
We had more then 20 proofs so he kept all them and told my lawyer that he needs to review them before make decision.
After interview lawyer said that we had 95% matching answers and he is confident that he will approve us, plus lawyer said that he knows him for years so officer knows that he doesn't bring fake marriage case to immigration.
In the afternoon case update saying " INTERVIEW COMPLETED AND CASE MUST BE REVIEWED "
The entire interview was stressful. So for people with asylum case specially in REMOVAL PROCEEDING, be ready for Stroke interview.
