Please Help
Sorry about my long post, my timeline is really strange and frustrating.

09-28-2018 - married to a USC
1/3/2019 - PD (filed i485, i130,i130a, i131, i765)
1/22/2019 - RFE received (on Form i485)- We have a joint sponsor, but they requested for my wife's employment verification letter and pay stub.
2/22/2019 - i765 Biometrics
3/17/2019 - i485 Biometrics
3/28/2019 - RFE response received and acknowledged by USCIC
4/24/2019 - RFIE received (on Form i485), Joint sponsor not suitable because income is not consistent for 3 years and they requested for a new joint sponsor.
//The joint sponsor income is above poverty guideline in the 3 years in question.

5/13/2019 - RFIE response received and acknowledged by USCIC
5/19/2019 - Applied for EAD to be expedited because I have a job offer
5/25/2019 - RFIE received (on Form i130) asked to provide proof of bonafide marriage.

At this point the online case status shows "RFIE was mailed for i485 on 5/22/2019" but we only received RFIE on i130 (the date on the letter is 5/22/2019). But i130 online status remained "we received your case on 1/3/2019".

Because they have different case numbers, out of curiosity I called USCIS to verify if its normal to receive notification on i485 when the actual letter is for i130. The contact center rep found it strange too but concluded it was just a crossover, that the notification was meant to be on i130. The date of the notification matches the date on the letter.

6/13/2019 - RFIE response sent and put to the attention of the name of IO handling the case (this was on the RFE instruction)

Now my i485 online status remain "RFE was mailed for i485 on 5/22/2019" while i130 shows “Your response to RFIE received on 6/13/2019". I expected the error to be corrected after some days but that never happened. I called again after a week to asked why my status still shows "RFE was mailed for form i485". This time the rep I spoke to said it can't be a crossover, that if I get a notification on i485 then it means there's an RFE on the case. Well I never received it, she passed me to a tier 2 agent who also confirmed that there can't be a crossover. Then I asked if he could fax the RFE to me since the deadline has long passed. He put me on a long hold and finally responded that he can't find the content on the RFE notification. In his word "I can see the notification, but the content is empty". He resolved to flag the case with the handler to explain what's going on and he issued me a ticket number for the inquiry. That ticket is yet to be assigned since 24th of June.

Till now no update on the expedited EAD. My job resumption date has been extended twice already and I fear I might lose the job.

It's really sad because a lot of inconsistent information from USCIS reps and they seem not to have enough information about my case. At this point I don't even know if I have a pending RFE or not.

Is it normal to ask for proof of bonafide marriage before EAD is approved?
