Post-interview wait time
San Jose FO

We wrapped up our interview (went well) on 1/14/2020. Our original officer wasn't able to make our interview and it was conducted by a substitute. After the interview, she mentioned there needs to be an FBI check that needs to be done. Pending results, we should be approved. When I dug in on timelines, she seemed optimistic and said we should get our card within weeks.

However, the status of the I-485 on the USCIS site still remains "Interview was scheduled" - how long does it typically take to update? I'm a little worried because I'm unsure if our substitute officer is going to go forward with our case OR if it's going to be handled by the original officer who was not able to make the interview.

Any insights would be appreciated.
