Question
Hey guys,
My husband is a US Citizen and we are getting ready to adjust my status. However, I don't have any proof of legal entry since my parents lost my passport, visa, and i-94. This has been really frustrating because we have gotten different advice from different lawyers on what to do. The lawyer we consulted with recently said I could apply for advance parole which I am thinking about since my grandfather is sick back in El Salvador. I am scared to do that because even though I am currently under TPS. I have heard many people talk about the 3/10 yr ban. Is this something you guys would recommend? Or should I just apply to form i-102 to see if they can retrieve my i-94? I also forgot to mention that I overstayed my tourist visa but applied to TPS before it expired. Also, the only proof I have of legal entry is my mother's i-94 and a flight ticket. I was only about 6 when I came here.
