question on I-131
Hello everyone!

I came to the U.S. on F1 visa, then married to my husband who is a USC in 2017. filed our document in March 2018.

I am just wondering, how long normally it takes to get advanced parole document? My grandma's health is getting worse and worse, she is 87 years old, and I really need to go back to my country to visit her. I was told before it only takes 3 months to get the advanced parole document, however, now it's over 3 months and I haven't heard anything yet...

my timeline:
PD- 3/16/2018
Biometrics- 4/16/2018
" case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" --4/18/2018 (yes, my status changed to this since 4/18/2018)
no any updates after that, no EAD, no AP.

I called USCIS customer service twice and they didn't give any useful information...basically they told me my advanced parole document is within processing time, I just need to wait.

Went to an info pass appointment on Jun 13th, at local office--San Jose, CA. The officer was pretty rude... she threw my documents around and just didn't even bother to have any eye contact with me. lol.
I told her that my concern was my AP, I really need to travel back to my country, and asked her if she knew how long it will take for meI get my advanced parole document, and she said the same thing-I need to wait. I asked her if there's anything I can do to expedite my advanced parole document, she told me I need to ask NBC, not the local office...

I am so frustrated, i have red a lot of information, for emergency travel i either have to have a certificate of death or some kind of document to prove i need to travel, but at this moment, I don't have any proof that my grandma's health is getting worse, and I don't have hospital records as well. Her health is getting worse because of age...

Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to push them process my AP faster? I honestly don't even care my work permit and green card right now, I can wait for 5 years on that no problem, as long as they allow me to travel abroad to see my grandma.

Please help! any information would be greatly appreciated!!! Good luck to everyone!
